I originally started this blog for the grandparents and other family that wanted endless photos of the kids, always asking us what we were up to, and how the kids were doing. I decided that if I created a blog, they were in control and could check in on us whenever they wanted to. In an ideal world, I'd keep the blog up to date, they'd check it, and everyone would be happy. Enter Facebook. All the grandparents and family found it, and started keeping tabs on us on a daily (or sometimes hourly) basis. So I've been remiss about using the blog. I've gotten slack, and it's even stressed me out a bit that it's 'one more thing I am not getting done'.
Now it's a new year, and I have a new approach to the blog. Less of a scrapbook of photos and 'what are we up to this week'... and more of a 'these are the crazy things my kids say/do' and 'life is a crazy world'. Inspired by my friend Jen (who if you don't read her blog, you need to...see is the funniest person I know http://boymommynyc.blogspot.com/).
So I'll end with a quote from Liam today:
"Girls are pretty and boys are awesome."
Chris: Why are boys awesome Liam?
Liam: Because boys pee out of their penis.
Well of course. Enough said.
